You'll do better in life by your choices than your talents.
Talents, such as being tall, athletic, good at maths, are great things to have, but on their own, they don't mean much other than some things are easier for you than others.
Some people define themselves by their talents and never progress past them.
This can make those of us without outstanding talents jealous or feel we have little worth.
That's not true, of course, we all have value that we can share and make a decent living from.
What gives us all value are the choices we make with or without talent.
Any of us can choose a life of ease and comfort, which works out sort of OK for most people, barring catastrophes.
Or we can choose a life of service and adventure.
When you reach 80, which one will you be most proud of?
Where you'll end up depends on your choices more than your talents.
I figured out many years ago that here in Australia, living in subsidised accommodation on a pension could be the worst that could happen to me.
It didn't matter what I did or how much I screwed up. The worst place I could be was where 50% of the population would end up anyway.
So I've taken some big risks.
Many didn't work out, but some did.
We're in a good place now.
Most people overestimate what they can do in a year and underestimate what they can do in 5 years.
The miracle of compounding can take you from making $100 this month to $100,000 a month in 5 years.
But you have to make the choice and then work on compounding your skills.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. No one knows how the current crop of A.I. tools will evolve or how they'll be used, but one thing is clear even at this early stage.
Lazy people will produce a crap ton of crappy content.
Eventually, platforms like Google will slap it from the SERPs.
Amazon will slap the low-quality books from Kindle.
And every other platform will filter it out of view.
That's when your choice to continue to create quality content will shine.
The A.I. tools are great for research and assisting with many things that will speed up your content creation, but they still need a human brain behind the final result.
PLR is an excellent case in point.
Most people using PLR are bone lazy.
They'll do the absolute minimum before putting it back on sale if they ever do.
Some do so little that they don't even change the affiliate links inside a PLR PDF.
Guess who gets the commission on any sales they generate?
But there is a simple way to use any PLR to get 100 times better results.
