I understand.
We all want to do the best we can, well, most of us anyway.
The problem with always striving to do the best you can is that sometimes we take so freaking long to decide or create a product that the opportunity has passed.
I wonder if the lengthy decision-making process is procrastination not thinking.
One of the ways I managed to avoid doing things I didn't want to do in my first marriage was to agree with the proposal and ask my wife to make the arrangements.
I knew that she wouldn't complete the job, and I was safe.
Was that mean?
Probably, but I would have gone along if she had made the arrangements.
I made the arrangements for stuff I wanted to do, but she didn't always go with me.
Anyway, these days we both make arrangements and mostly both go along.
This is the way I make decisions for my online business these days.
When I need a tool to do a job, I search.
As soon as I find one that works, I use it.
Sometimes they are free, and sometimes I have to pay.
When that tool no longer does what I need it to do, I look for another.
Saves me a lot of time.
It has been brought to my attention that the emails sent by Substack make the links look pretty ugly.
They probably still work OK, but I'll be experimenting with a few ideas to sort that out.
Bear with me on this and give me feedback so I know what's arriving in your inbox.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. I would've added another product to the Substack paid membership today, but I went on a long bike ride instead.
Our house guests left today, but they didn't get away until mid-morning, so my ride started late.
The ride took 3 3/4 hours and left me feeling a little weary.
No matter, I'll be able to get something done tomorrow.
Meanwhile, you can access all the goodies through this link
and see what this email looks like dressed up.
