Why you need a goal.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll never get there.
You should set goals for everything.
Goals for your health.
Goals for your relationships.
Goals for your finances.
But goals without action plans are wish lists.
Fantasies that you'll never achieve.
As part of your goal setting, you need to set a deadline for reaching them.
Then, you break down the goal and the timeline.
Break everything down to the smallest possible step and time frame.
Now you have an action plan that will be easy to follow and track.
The overarching goal is what keeps you doing those little steps.
It's the reason to keep moving when things seem toughest.
That's why you need to goal in the first place, it gives you the why.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. We were at a 50th wedding anniversary tonight.
It was a surprise for the couple, and I got to catch up with people I haven't seen for **cough** years.
It did remind me why I do what I do.
So many stories of poor health, stupid injuries, non-attendees who have passed away, etc.
When we were teenagers, many of us couldn't imagine reaching the age we have now achieved.
Most of the others do not appear to have aged well.
That's why I ride my bicycle and swim.
That's why I do what I do online.
I plan to be fit, healthy, and financially independent of the Government for as long as possible.
If that interests you, start building assets like an email list or blog that will pay you ongoing income.
For that, you'll need lead magnets and content.
This is one simple way to create those.
