When you put something off, it gets harder to get it done.
Take the case of sending a friend a reply to their email.
If you don't do it immediately, the odds are that you'll never reply.
It's the same with an SMS message.
The problem is that you also feel guilty about not replying, but it gets harder and harder to respond, and the guilt grows.
The longer you delay, it seems that you begin to feel that they'll be more upset by a delayed response than they would be about no response.
It's interesting, at least to me, that the same applies to stuff you want to do but put off.
Stuff like building that sales page, writing that book or blog post, sending an email to your subscribers, etc.
Once you've missed your self-imposed deadline, it gets easier and easier to stretch the gap between when it should have been done and the time you give up on getting it done.
You know that to make consistent money online, there are a few simple things you have to do every day, but you don't do them.
Because you don't do them, the chances of you making that consistent income, no matter what size, diminish rapidly.
It's the tortoise and the hare story again.
No matter how little activity you do, consistently doing it will get you where you want to be.

Brent.
