What to do when what you're doing fails.
A fascinating study was done a few years ago in Holland.
The study was on what makes the difference between successful start-ups and failing start-ups.
97% of start-ups fail.
Interesting number because it correlates with the success rate of Internet Marketers and 3D world businesses.
Apparently, when people hit a wall in their efforts, most of them do one of two things.
Some do more of the same things, and some do less of the same things.
Neither of these activities will bring more success.
They can only bring more failure.
The 3% try something different, while the 97% keep smashing their heads against the wall like a stuck energiser bunny.
This happens because we try to live our lives on autopilot as much as possible.
We avoid thinking.
Autopilot is easier.
Thinking is hard.
But spending 5% of our time thinking about the wall and potential solutions will take us from the 97% of failures to the 3% of successful people.
Isn't that worth 5% of your day?
Regards,
Brent.
