We are all cursed by ourselves.
Some folk are cursed with a need to understand their future and purpose right at the start.
They don't want to make a single move unless they know where it'll lead, but once they know, they go all out.
And others are cursed to not care and end up on the path chosen for them.
Sometimes, they find success, but most often, they simply fail.
I was more in the latter.
Falling from one 'next step' to the following one and making all the 'sensible' choices for the time but not following a path I'd chosen from the beginning.
I stayed safe and ended up like a trapped rat, too scared to move from what little I had left.
So very little, but it's all I had.
The path of least resistance is less bother until it isn't, and a good way to waste a life with little to show for it but two-point-three kids and a mortgage - if you're lucky.
I'm no longer like that.
You don't choose a specific destination.
You decide on the outcome.
And if what you're doing stops looking like it will give you the desired outcome, you change your plans.
It's never too late to choose an outcome and work to make it a reality.
The question is, are you willing to choose an outcome?
Because if you are, it means you're willing to work hard or accept the blame for quitting.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. Outcomes are what some people call 'your why', but I think outcomes work better for me.
I have documented the step-by-step way I used to reach one of my outcomes.
I use the same process to work towards the other outcomes I have on my list.
If you're ready to reach the outcomes you want, this is the way to do it. https://nomad-productions.convertri.com/goals.
