Two problems with selling digital products on Etsy.
The first problem is that the competition is fierce, and if you don't have the design chops plus a large inventory of products to sell, you will probably struggle to make headway.
The Etsy ecosystem is similar to Amazon, Google, Bing etc.
You need to make sales to get a good ranking, but it's hard to do so without a good ranking.
Catch 22.
The second problem is that they have some pretty hefty fees that will eat into your profits.
If you want to go all gung ho on Etsy, you can make good money, but you will have to drive a lot of the initial traffic yourself.
However, if you must go all out to get the initial traffic, why wouldn't you do the same for your products on a different platform?
Yesterday's email has a link to an email series that share 15 ways to get traffic for free to drive anywhere you like.
Today I'm sharing an Etsy-like platform that doesn't have those massive fees. https://go.wm-tips.com/inspired.
This works for digital and physical products, and the fees are super low.
If you are or have been thinking about selling digital or physical products, you owe it to your future profits to check it out.

Brent.
