All change can be hard.
It's even harder if it's forced on you by changing circumstances such as job loss, loss of a partner, injury, illness, external forces etc.
The hardest ones to recover from are the loss of financial or emotional support.
I have lost my job several times, had a business be white-anted and destroyed under me, almost declared bankruptcy and was days away from homelessness.
At one stage, I was depressed without realising it, which made my decision-making suffer badly.
When I was in the recovery stage, I realised how bad things had gotten and found it difficult to get back on track.
With the help of my family and friends, I was able to gradually pull back from the brink.
It was a slow, step-by-step process of incremental changes.
That's what I still do when I want or need to make some changes.
Incremental steps are how you can change anything that you think needs improving.
You probably already know what you need to do to change things.
You are also probably held back from starting because it looks like a massive undertaking.
I get that.
I've been there.
I'm here to tell you that how long it takes is usually less than you think.
Work out where you want to be and what you want to achieve.
Figure out what the steps are to get there.
Set the steps you can take over the next two weeks to get started.
Start.
Keep doing the steps. Commit to it, and you will get there.

Brent.
