They didn’t have my muesli in stock, again.
Twice this week I’ve been to the supermarket without success, well for muesli.
Unbelievable, it’s clearly the most popular one on the shelves so they should make sure they have sufficient stock.
Sure, they had others, even my wife’s muesli, but not mine.
Yes, my wife and I like different types of muesli.
Instead of arguing about which one to buy, we buy both.
Other local supermarkets don’t even stock the brand we like so we can’t go there.
The next closest that might have it is a 20-minute drive away, and there is no guarantee that they’ll have it on the shelves.
Mind you, it does seem a little extreme to drive that far for a $2 bag of muesli.
I’ll just have to put my big-boy pants on and eat my wife’s muesli until I can get some of mine.
I suppose now I should segue into a marketing or life lesson, but stuff that.
You can probably figure that out for yourself, or not.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. The best time to build an email list was 15 years ago when people handed out their email address without thought.
It’s much harder today, but you can still build a list of engaged subscribers as long as you provide them with sufficient value.
That’s value for them, not the arbitrary monetary value that some people attribute to their bonuses.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve previously sold a product for $1,000 if the proposed recipient doesn’t see $1,000 of value in it for them.
If someone offered to sell you the formula for Coke for $10k would you find the money to buy it?
Would it matter if the formula was written on a page torn from an exercise book?
Not at all because the value of that formula is in the tens of millions.
Value is always in the eye of the beholder, not the vendor.
In my last email I showed out how to set up your funnel to improve the number and quality of your subscribers.
What I didn’t tell you there was where you can get this started quickly and easily.
