The glass ceiling, and other self limiting beliefs
Your ability to achieve is limited by your ability to believe in yourself and one other thing.
The biggest one is your self-belief.
You must believe that you can write that book, create that app, write daily emails, paint that picture, develop that relationship, play that game, become the CEO, or whatever else you would like, or it will never happen.
Sometimes you can only believe the next step along the path.
You may not believe that you can start flipping burgers and end up as CEO, but you must be able to think that flipping burgers will lead to the next step of becoming a crew leader.
Check out Andrew Gregory's rise in McDonald's.
There is always an element of luck involved in anything you do, but self-belief can help you improve that luck as long as you are not sitting around home thinking you'll be the next CEO of Maccas before you even have a job flipping burgers.
That one extra thing I mentioned at the top of this email?
Action.
You must be doing things that will lead you to the desired achievements.
You have to be doing them better than your closest rivals so you stand out like the donkey in Shrek.
"Pick me" has to be your call by your actions.
But even if your actions make you stand out and you are considered for the next step, if you don't believe in yourself, you'll probably not be offered the position.
This relates to your writing and other online activities by not taking the next logical step because you don't think you can do it.
So our limiting beliefs become our real-life limits.
Because they're self-imposed, they can be shattered.
All it takes is a change in your beliefs.

Brent.
P.S. Whenever I see opportunities, I'll grab them and push to see if they fit for me.
They don't always work out, but I always learn something I can apply elsewhere.
Here are four opportunities for businesses that work.
They do all work, and you will have to do something to make them work, but none of them are difficult.
Which one works for you?
