Some people are frightened of making money.
It's a very strange attitude.
They're happy to work at a 9-5 and complain about not having enough money, but they don't want to reach out for more.
They have an attitude that thinks all rich people must have done something illegal or immoral to have that much money.
Money is 'dirty', or so they think.
None of those things are true.
Money doesn't make people evil.
Instead, it is an amplifier of our current identity.
Having money may not make you happy, but staying poor is no great honour either.
If you're already a miserable bastard, making a lot of money will only make you a rich miserable bastard.
If you're a generous person, having money means you can be even more generous.
I look at some of the headlines where some rich person donates $1 million to a charity, and people fawn over them, but to a billionaire, a million is the equivalent of you donating a dollar.
Honestly, I see that as being cheap.
They'll make that million back before the ink on the headline is dry.
The bottom line is that there is more money sloshing around than you could ever use, and it's inert.
There is nothing that holding a fistful of $100 bills can't improve.
On its own, money does nothing.
It lies there on the table without thinking.
The thinking comes from you.
Making money shouldn't frighten you.
The opportunity should inspire you to imagine what you could do with it.
The opportunity is enormous.
Play some imagination games.

Brent.
