Making money with generic traffic.
Many people believe you can only make money with targeted traffic, but that's not true.
You can make money with generic traffic.
The only issue is that you'll need a lot of it.
Generating generic traffic in large volumes can be much easier than generating highly targeted traffic in sufficient volume.
As a quick example.
One marketer I know of runs a busy Facebook page on soccer, or as he calls it, football.
Currently, there is a lot of generic traffic available on any platform that has anything to do with the World Cup.
He runs video clips from YouTube on his blog with commentary.
He gets visitors to his blog using snapshots from the video on Facebook that looks like a video but redirects when clicked on.
He has a bit of bait commentary on each snapshot.
His blog has Adsense on it, plus ads for various products.
Not all of those products are football or World Cup related.
The thing is that football fans who want to watch his videos and read his commentary also have other interests.
Football is only one niche in which they have an interest.
Some are also keen gardeners.
Some want to improve their health.
Some want to save money on their power bills.
Some want to make money online.
Etc.
I'm sure you get the idea.
Some will buy football memorabilia, while others will buy solar panel plans.
He's making a nice living from this, and he gets to watch YouTube all day and call it working.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. Making money online is not hard.
It doesn't even require a whole lot of technical ability.
All it really requires is the ability to identify a niche that people spend money in and a way to get some of those people to spend it with you.
There are large amounts of traffic all over the Internet that you can tap into, but you do have to be consistently active, or you'll be left in the dust as some upstart rushes past you.
You'll need to be able to generate reasonable quality content fast.
This site can help you do that.
