Let Apple handle your banking.
Is this a good idea or not?
I'm a bit of a Luddite when it comes to using my mobile phone as a credit card.
After all, no one has ever lost a phone or had one stolen.
Nor have any phones been broken by dropping or sitting on them, let alone having them fall into the toilet or other source of liquid.
So there's no risk of losing access to your cards or banking details.
I've been around while all this flash technology was being developed, and I have seen or done all these things.
Of course, all electronic devices can be hacked or fail.
Then there is the possibility of a power outage preventing your phone from accessing the Internet for an extended period.
On the other hand, I can see significant advantages to using your phone as a point-of-sale device.
It would be handy for small value transactions that are common with Facebook Marketplace, Farmers Markets, Gumtree transactions, etc.
It could eliminate the cumbersome online banking transfers and the banking fees that we sometimes employ to pay a tradie.
Another aspect of this may interest the more cautious among you.
If I have an account with an online bank in another country linked to my Apple account, I can buy and sell things without paying fees or taxes in the country I live in.
It'll also be challenging for any of those transactions to be tracked.
Just a thought.
I'd be interested in your feedback and thoughts.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. Whatever you do online, you need to get humans to visit your pages.
Since it's estimated that almost 50% of all website traffic is bots, that's clearly a bit of an issue.
While it's possible to build a PBN to collect and funnel people onto your main pages, you'll still draw in many bots.
There is one source that will automatically send humans to your pages.
