Do you read much?
Currently, I'm reading the original War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells.
I've never read this book, but I have seen the original movie several times, the less good one with Tom Cruise and the latest series that is not based on the book.
While they were all interesting in their own way, the book is far better despite its age.
I read a lot, probably somewhere around 30 - 40 books a year.
I mostly read books to help me with my online business, but I also read for entertainment and to improve my vocabulary.
The knowledge of the world is in books.
You don't have to pay to find books worth reading.
Try
https://gutenberg.org
for thousands of free books.
Some of these are in the public domain, which means you can publish them copyright free.
Others you can rewrite in your own words and publish or use several as the basis of a new work.
Reading will help you learn to write better, and that's a skill we all need online.
Limiting yourself to books of a single genus will restrict your ability to create new works or write better.
Read daily, read widely, read stuff you disagree with, and things you do agree with.
It helps make you a more rounded character and better able to write for more audiences.

Brent.
