It was too scary to get out of the car.
It was a dark and stormy night.
No, it wasn't, it was the early hours of the morning.
I was tired and barely concentrating.
Not a good plan when it's foggy, and there are always Kangaroos on this road.
There was a flash so bright it was like daylight.
Now I'm awake.
Hands sweaty, pulse racing.
Do I stop and find out what happened or keep driving, hoping that nothing else happens?
I can see some sort of machine burning and smoke pouring from it, heading towards the ground.
It doesn't look like a plane.
My mind was racing.
I read too much science fiction.
Was a spacecraft just shot down?
I didn't know then, and I don't know now, but I was not getting out of the car to find out.
Dad suggested that it was a meteor.
It might have been.
It probably was because that's the more likely explanation, but bloody hell, it woke me up and scared the stuffing out of me at the time.
By the way, there was nothing in any news report about this phenomenon, Men in Black, anyone?
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. There's no need to be frightened of setting and reaching goals as long as you approach them correctly.
You will never reach a goal that you don't set.
You'll never reach a goal that you don't work towards.
Once you set a goal and determine what you need to do today and tomorrow, you'll reach them all.
This is what you need to do.
