I might be leaving hospital on Thursday.
It's still a bit conditional, but that's the latest target.
I'll still have to return daily for therapy, but being at home will make me feel better.
Quite apart from the fact that 1/2 the hospital has been isolated due to a COVID outbreak.
Fortunately, I'm in the 1/2 that's clear at the moment.
Recently I came across a graph explaining why many people quit before they succeed in any endeavour.
It shows the same exponential curve that your savings do, which explains why people quit saving.
It generally takes around 14 periods before your efforts begin to gain traction.
For savings, that's 14 years with little growth.
For a website, it's 14 months before you get any serious growth.
For learning a language while living in a country, it's 14 weeks of immersion.
These are, of course, semi-generic numbers.
Your mileage may vary.
Putting one blog post on your website and waiting 14 months won't get you much traction.
Putting one blog post on your blog every day for 14 months will gain you a lot of traction.
Making money online is simple, but it's not easy.
Many people confuse the two.
They are not the same.
The steps you need to take are simple ones.
Find an audience, then find a product for them or find a product, then find an audience for it.
Simple right?
That bit's probably easy as well, but the hard bit is showing up every day to present the offer to the same people in different ways until they buy.
It's that daily grind that stymies most folk.
That's the 95% who fail.
See?
Those that drop out are not your competition.
The 5% remaining are your competitors.
95% of those aren't even working in your niche.
This case study shows how one person found a niche, built a profile, and profited from it.
It also shows you how to do the same with little work.
