How to rank duplicate content without getting banned.
To be perfectly honest, Google ranks duplicate content every day without banning the websites using it.
The only duplicate content penalty happens when Google sees that you're using the same content on multiple pages of the same site.
That ticks them off, and they will de-index your site because of it.
Everything else you've read or heard about a duplicate content penalty is a myth.
Perpetrated mainly by people who are flogging some tool or training that will turn your content into "unique content" that you don't need.
If the same content appears on multiple sites, it is not penalised as such, but it may be filtered into the supplemental index.
I talked about the supplemental index in my last email.
You can check this quickly.
Search using a sentence from a popular PLR or article directory document, and you'll usually find many sites using that content with no edits.
Click through to the last page of the SERP, and you'll find the supplemental index also contains the same unedited page.
While that means you can use the same content on all your sites and Web 2.0 properties, it isn't the smartest thing to do.
The smarter way to use any of your PLR or white-label products is to edit them slightly.
I know you've been told this before, and it all seems like a lot of hard work, but it isn't any longer.
It definitely is worth the small effort involved.
ChatGPT or Frase will help you rewrite your PLR document without losing the information.
I prefer Frase for this because it seems to be better at retaining the sense of the document.
You can use Canva to help you make a new cover, and you're good to go.
I haven't tried it yet, but I think Canva also has an A.I. component. https://go.wm-tips.com/canva.
Play with these tools and one of the PLR pieces hanging around on your hard drive.
Regards,
Brent.
