How to be productive while slacking off.
Today I got a lot of traffic generation done while listening to a 1 hour Jordan Peterson video.
Sometimes I think I’m a bit slow.
It’s taken me years to work this one out.
I enjoy video interviews with many people, and Jordan happens to be on my current list of favourites.
But watching these hour-long interviews takes up to an hour - doh!
Up to because with some of them, I can still follow along fine at 1.5 or even 2.0 times speed.
But you don’t have to watch them.
You can treat them like a podcast and listen to them while doing something else.
That only works if what you are doing doesn’t require much thinking; otherwise, you’ll miss out on the interview.
You can do this while making short videos, building backlinks for SEO or traffic, uploading content that you’ve already made, etc.
Many things that are essentially donkey work and do not require much thinking are ideal for this little productivity hack.
The other advantage is that you will get this stuff done without getting bored spit-less.
That’s true multi-tasking.
Let me know what you think about this.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. Also, you could use AI to help with product creation, at least the outline of your content.
If you watched the video I linked to in the last email you’ll see how that could work.
The main tool I used in that video was Frase: https://go.wm-tips.com/frase.
It’s not a LLM like ChatGPT, but it’s a very handy tool.
