How rewarding yourself for goal achievement can block progress.
Many motivational and success gurus teach you to reward yourself for reaching targets.
That's almost true.
Unfortunately, they often suggest things like celebrating with a meal or buying something you want.
Scientific studies have shown that rewarding yourself with an external prize harms your progress.
The reason is that you'll have to keep ramping up the reward to get the same motivation to keep going.
You've possibly seen this if you've ever been to more than one motivational meeting where people are recognised for their achievements.
You'll see the same people recognised for the same achievement repeatedly.
They've plateaued.
After a while, they quit because they're embarrassed at their lack of progress and don't know how to get going again.
It's the external reward that's the problem.
You need to reward yourself internally for the achievement, not externally.
Often, all it takes is recognising how well you've done and telling yourself that you're on the right path to reach your goals.
Even small steps that move you forward deserve this response because that internal reward makes it easier to take bigger steps next time.
Rewarding yourself with that 'feel good' moment is crucial to your long-term success.

P.S. When you rewrite any PLR content using the simple method in this training, you'll get that 'feel good' moment.

The reason is that you'll know that you can repeat this with all the PLR that you've bought but never used.
Even the cheap crappy stuff that's now out of date.
The first one will be the hardest, and then it'll get easier and easier.
