Getting ChatGPT to write plugins is easy.
The plugin that it wrote worked.
I did a little experiment over the weekend.
I asked ChatGPT to write a WordPress plugin.
I saw in another marketer's email that he had done it, so I thought I'd try it as well.
The first iteration also gave me instructions on how to build the plugin, upload it and use it.
But it didn't work how I wanted, so I added instructions.
I could paste the whole chat and code here, but that would end up being over 1,000 words, so I won't inflict that on you.
ChatGPT and I went back and forwards for a while before I got what I wanted.
It's bare bones, but the short version is that I can plug a spintax document into a form, and the code will produce a draft post or page for me.
The power is mine, mwahaha.
Ok, sorry about that. Got a little carried away.
This particular plugin needs a bit more work before I'd let anyone else play with it.
Ultimately, I want this plugin to create posts and snippets from a spintax document and distribute them to other blogs directly or via RSS.
I won't be spinning words or phrases but whole paragraphs.
It will only be creating documents from the spintax, not creating the spintax document.
I will make the original document and the alternative paragraphs to keep the quality high.
I will also utilise the tools I already have.
Tools such as Grammarly, https://go.wm-tips.com/grammarly.
Frase, https://go.wm-tips.com/frase.
YIVWWriter, https://go.wm-tips.com/yivewriter.
Spin Re-writer, https://go.wm-tips.com/write.
Because these have proven to be reliable and useful.
I don't use them all every day, but I do use them all over the course of most weeks.
I'll let you know how it all goes.
Regards,
Brent.
