Frame their decisions on what they give up.
Everyone knows that a decision is ultimately a choice – between a thing you pick and a thing you give up.
You always lose something when you make a decision.
We all have 24 hours in a day and think we are busy, but to make changes, we have to reduce or eliminate the time we spend on one activity and replace it with another.
Other than money, when people buy something, i.e. give it up, they could also give up
Fear
Worry
Regret
Pain
Discomfort
Annoyance
Frustration
Self-doubt
You can even take something they currently like and position it as a worthy and beneficial sacrifice to gain something even better.
A classic example of this concept would be "Give up your morning Starbucks only one day per week, and you can afford this amazing life-changing whatsit. And it's probably better for your health to reduce caffeine, anyway!"
When you write your sales page, you can frame things as giving up negatives or replacing positives with something better.
