Exact match domains don't help, much.
A million years ago, in Internet time, all the SEO experts said that a keyword focussed domain name gave your site a ranking boost.
That time passed well before they were espousing that tactic.
When I look around the Internet or in the real world, a domain name or business name rarely indicates the business behind it.
Think Yahoo, Google, Apple, Amazon, Dogpile, Klavio, Tik Tok, Integromat, etc, for online companies.
Offline think about Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Lexus, Yamaha, Shell, etc.
I'm sure you can come up with many more just walking around your town or city.
You know all those names, but that is due to exposure.
You would never have searched for any of those names before they became well known.
If, by some rare chance, an exact match domain name becomes available, then owning it won't hurt your ranking.
It probably won't help a great deal either.
A name that's easier to remember is far more helpful.
You can always have an exact match sub-domain if you want because Google treats sub-domains as independent from the primary domain name.
This means that your best bet is to get a nice short domain name and add as many sub-domains as you like.

Brent.
P.S. What does help your ranking is getting lots of backlinks to your pages.
Using as many social media platforms as possible to get backlinks is a double-edged sword.
One edge is the ranking signals.
The other edge is that these platforms already have a lot of traffic, and you can siphon some of that to your pages.
Unfortunately, managing all those accounts and posting to them regularly is dead boring and time-consuming.
Fortunately, there is a tool to automate that.
