Check your links, you're missing subscribers and sales.
Yep, that's spot on.
In the last few days I have seen more and more links that don't go anywhere.
They end up on a 404 page not found or a 403 access forbidden page.
No one can sign up or buy anything on those pages.
I've seen them in emails and on web pages.
I've been in funnels where a link was broken.
Is this just laziness on the part of the marketer, or is it a sign of people rushing to get stuff done?
I think it's a bit from column A and a bit from column B.
It takes seconds to check your links go where they're supposed to go, and it will make all the difference to your results.
You cannot make a sale if the prospect can't land on your sales page.
That seems like a no-brainer to me.
However, I must confess that I also made the same mistake.
I caught it today after checking my stats on a campaign without sales.
Yep, the link to the sales page from the thank you page did not go to the sales page.
Did it cost me sales?
I don't know, but I do know that 100% of those who clicked that link could not buy the product.
With luck, the follow-up emails will pick up some of those potential sales.
My takeaway, and yours, is that you must check every part of your pages and funnels to ensure that the actions your visitors take will result in them going where they're expecting to go.
Many of the pages I've seen in the traffic exchanges lately either load too slowly or not at all, but I have seen encouraging results from the traffic through EzClikz.

Here is a link that does go where it's supposed to.
