Buying an email list is faster than organic growth.
But the question is always about the legitimacy of buying a list.
Some people will tell you that it's a definite no no.
Others will tell you that it's OK if a bit shady.
It's actually none of those things.
The reality of buying a list is that how you use it is the issue.
The protagonists claim that using a bought email list is against the CAN-SPAM laws.
It's not, as long as you follow all the regulations.
That means you must have contact details and an unsubscribe link in any cold email you send.
It also means that you must make sure that you never email any unsubscribes again.
You must treat the opens with kid gloves if they don't click a link or contact you.
Any contacts or clicks can be treated as engaged.
The best bet is to get those subscribers onto a different list ASAP by segmenting.
All bought lists will have dud email addresses and full email boxes, so all bounces must be deleted.
The percentage of real, engaged subscribers from a bought list will probably be low regardless of the source, but you'll never know if you never try it.
To protect your main autoresponder account, it's best to use a different one for your cold outreach, and many places specialise in that.
A quick Google search will bring up many for you to choose from.
Don't discount alternative ways to build your email list because you might find a diamond mine to plunder.

Brent.
P.S. Talking of diamond mines brings me to the best diamond mining training I have found.
Using A.I. to find and extract diamonds is the painless way to do it.
Simple, short videos (with some odd artifacts) lays out step-by-step exactly what you need to do, which is basically copy and paste.
If you can do that, then this will work for you.
