Are you using AI or is AI using you?
"The real problem is not whether machines think but whether men do." B. F. Skinner.
Fascinating quote by this renowned psychologist.
It has been thought for many years that people only use about 10% of their brain capacity.
That has been refuted, but are they thinking with their brains?
Have a look at the news on any day, and you'll begin to wonder if those people are thinking or only regurgitating what their 'leaders' say.
Trawl through the various news sites, YouTube, Facebook, etc., and you'll be astounded at the strange things some people seem to believe.
Sometimes, their logic and proof are compelling.
But you can always find another article or video with an alternative view.
So, which do you believe?
Since we are all an amalgamation of our upbringing, education, environment, and peers, it can be difficult to separate fact from fiction.
Indeed, though, the Internet has all the information you could want, and it's all factual, right?
Unfortunately, the answer to that is no, it's not.
Everyone who posts content online, or anywhere else, has their own biases that they filter information through.
The current crop of A.I. tools are not immune to these biases.
They are modified to deliver the information based on the beliefs their programmers want to promulgate.
You can get around those fences and biases with careful prompting, but most people won't.
Learning how to craft prompts to get what you want is in your best interests.
This is a great way to learn prompting basics while you create something to sell.
