An interesting little trick to rank your videos faster.
I don't know if you would classify it as a trick or just smart thinking.
The issue with YouTube is the large number of subscribers and views you need to qualify for their advertising program.
During your qualifying period, they'll run ads on your videos and keep 100% of the revenue.
Their platform, their rules.
If we want to play, we must play by their rules, except...
...what if we use some clever thinking and rack up the views faster?
A view is when the video plays for a set length.
The more views you get, the more YouTube will push your video higher in their search results and their "you might also like" list on the right.
So how can you get a lot of views fast without breaking the bank?
The answer is in pop-under ads.
When you make that pop-under ad a link to your video, it will begin to play as soon as the pop-under fires and will keep playing until the page is closed.
Buying large volumes of pop-under ads is very cheap, and I can get them for as little as $1 per 1k.
You can search to find many sources of this type of traffic.
For the cost of $20, you can have 20k visitors to a video in days.
It's low quality, but you need to rack up the visits so you can begin to get noticed and get better quality visitors.
Do your selling in the description.
That's where the links need to be.

Brent.
P.S. Does the thought of making videos make you shudder?
It shouldn't.
If you're a bit shy, there are simple ways to make videos that don't have your face or voice on them.
You can use PLR content and plug the text into Pictory to get the video made complete with voice-over.
