Are you always testing things?
You should be.
You won't know what works or if you could make something work better if you don't test.
I apply this to most things I do, not just online marketing.
For example, this week I bought my wife an e-bike.
She has tried one of the mountain bikes I have but didn't feel comfortable on it.
When we were away last trip we hired some bikes in the Clare Valley and she rode an e-bike there, which she enjoyed.
To test it's capabilities I took her new bike for a ride today on my normal 50 km loop.
The things I wanted to know were,
Can she keep up with me if we ride together?
Can the battery last the 50 km?
Will she still get enough exercise riding an e-bike?
How does the bike cope with the hills?
Is it speed limited?
I got the answers.
It was a windier day than normal, which always makes the ride harder.
I pushed it hard up and down hill and ended up with a better average time than I've ever done on the loop.
I used 3/4 of the battery capacity and found the speed limiter was me.
The overall impression is that this bike will allow her to get as much exercise as she wants while helping her to keep up with (and beat) me over the course.
She won't be riding with me over that distance just yet as she needs to gain more confidence and build up her endurance, but that should only take a couple of months.
Now back to testing some landing pages.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. I send these emails to myself as well as you.
This is part of the testing, I want to know when they don't land in the inbox and I want to know what they look like from a end user perspective.
Yesterday's email got mangled a bit for some of you, I don't know how that happened but it was probably a cut and paste error.
There was no link in the P.S. to the Daily Task giveaway page as there should have been.
My apologies, here it is again.
