"The tragedy of bold, forthright, industrious people is that they act so continuously without much thinking, that it becomes dry and empty." – Brenda Ueland.
Success only comes from a combination of these three things.
A good idea.
Good execution.
Luck.
When you closely examine any verifiable success, you'll find two or all three of these things.
Having a combination of these things does not guarantee success, but there is no success without at least two of these.
The problem is that only two of them are under your control.
The third is up to the Universe, and sometimes it's not there at all, but you can still achieve success without luck.
So for you or I to reach the success we want, it's up to us to put effort into ideas and execution.
The gurus and influencers waffle on about how you have to focus on the hustle.
The reason is that anyone can hustle, so it has the broadest appeal, and your failure can be blamed on 'not enough hustle' or 'quitting before the hustle pays off'.
That is, of course, B.S.
Digging ditches requires hustle, but no amount of hustle will make you a financial success unless you happen to strike gold or oil.
Execution can only pay off if the original idea is good, and coming up with a good idea can be difficult.
Or is it?
No, it's not.
Good ideas surround you.
They inundate you, but you ignore them because you are not looking for them.
All you have to do is observe, think, read, watch, analyze, react, combine, compare, contrast and then create.
Feed your brain continuously.
The more often you write down ideas that come to you, the more ideas will come to you.
Not all of them will pay off, but the more you act on, the better you'll get at picking good ones that will pay off.
Share your thoughts and you'll attract an audience who will buy your content.
With a good idea and an audience hustling can really pay off, hustling without that will wear you out.
Regards,
Brent.
P.S. Here's a great way to begin building the audience before you have your own products to offer them.
Start by writing reviews of products that you like and ones you don't like.
Post them into a FaceBook page or public group, on your blog.
Alternatively, you could post them to Substack.
